The MSU Center for European and Eurasian Studies (CEES) provides supplemental funding to the Center's core faculty to offset costs of conference travel in support of their work related to Europe and Eurasia. 

The amount of the supplemental support is capped at $350 per application.

To ensure full consideration of your request, please submit it by September 30, 2025.

CEES core faculty accessing these travel funds are expected to lead a discussion, as a part of CEES seminar series, on their research or some topic of relevance to the Center during the course of the academic year for which the supplementary travel award was made. In the request form, please indicate your preference for a specific date some time during the Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 semesters.  

CEES seminars are typically held on Fridays from noon until 1:30pm but other time slots can be considered if needed.
