The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has announced its grants for study and research in German for 2015/2016. These include the Study Scholarship, the innovative Research Internships in Science and Engineering (RISE), and Visiting Professorships that support guest lecturers in all fields.


Task Force on Cooperation in Greater Europe

In a previous paper, this Task Force argued that if Europeans did not begin pursuing a new, Greater European cooperative project, then divisions between the EU and Russia over Ukraine and between NATO and Russia on other issues could create a new period of confrontation in Europe.

That fear has now, sadly, become a reality.

Over the last two decades, the system of international relations was aimed at finding a model to effectively support stability and global security, here with containing and controlling regional conflicts. Such a model was being built by means of filling the existing institutions with new content and, to a lesser degree, creating new institutions to reflect the shifts in correlation of powers.
